Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, and maintaining goods and equipment, supporting efficient operations throughout the facility. • Inspect and verify received items for accuracy from vendors, update the system with the relevant details, and position the products in the suitable location within the warehouse. • Utilize an RF scanner to gather components from low and high spots and transfer them onto production carts. • Engage actively in cycle counting processes, programs aimed at consolidating storage areas, and maintaining the cleanliness of inventory and warehouse sites. • Learn multiple roles within the department to be flexible in assisting other teams whenever necessary. • Verify the tasks of associates to prevent errors and guarantee that customer expectations are fulfilled. • Follow the procedures specified in the company handbook and departmental rules, show consideration for your colleagues, and prioritize safety measures in all work-related activities. • Adhere to the maintenance schedule for warehouse equipment and promptly inform relevant personnel of any equipment concerns. • Take responsibility for actions and tasks completed, sustain a positive attitude, and foster a team-oriented environment. • Be an active participant in company-provided activities, such as suggestion programs and quality training sessions. • Handle additional responsibilities as requested.
Essential Criteria and Competence: • A minimum of 12 months of operational experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts is expected. • Skill in packing and material manipulation. • Experience in using RF scanners and following loading protocols. • Grasp of the practices for handling incoming and outgoing shipments.
Preferred Qualifications: • Possessing a forklift certification is preferred. • Openness to cross-train and acquire expertise in various areas of the company.
Compensation and Benefits:
Employees earn $19.80 per hour with potential for advancement. Those who achieve permanent status are eligible for two production bonuses per year.
