Job Description
Position Title: BIM Specialist
The BIM Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of architectural practices. This position requires a strong foundation in Revit and AutoCAD, along with a commitment to developing and maintaining BIM standards. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and supporting Revit users, which includes architects and project managers. Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 / Year DOE
BIM Specialist Responsibilities: • Provide support to approximately 50 Revit users, addressing their inquiries throughout the day • Assist in onboarding consultants and training internal staff on Revit-related topics • Conduct troubleshooting to resolve user issues, prioritizing tasks based on urgency • Modify Revit families and update software as necessary • Research industry standards and trends to improve workflows and standards • Engage with AI initiatives and explore potential partnerships for software enhancements • Prepare training materials and conduct sessions to educate users on best practices
BIM Specialist Requirements: • Architectural experience within an architectural firm is required • 5+ years of relevant experience is required • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required • A willingness to transition into a BIM-focused role is essential • Experience in developing Revit standards or participating in a BIM committee is preferred • Familiarity with Revit plugins, such as EnScape for visualization, is preferred
