One of the nations most trusted law firms is hiring a Mid-Senior Level Prevailing Wage Associate to advise employers on California public works and federal Davis-Bacon matters and defend enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR, DLSE, and in state and federal courts. You will run matters end-to-end including strategy, drafting, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation and serve as a trusted day-to-day counselor on wage compliance for public works. They want a self-starter who can step in, take ownership, and perform at a high level in a collaborative, client-first team.

Salary Range: : $230,000–$270,000 / Year DOE

Mid-Senior Level Prevailing Wage Associate Responsibilities: • Advise companies on California public works and federal prevailing wage compliance • Defend enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR and DLSE, and litigate in state and federal courts • Manage all phases of litigation • Counsel clients on policies, handbooks, training, and day-to-day employment law issues related to public works • Collaborate with partners across matters in a free-market assignment model • Meet annual billables

Mid-Senior Level Prevailing Wage Associate Requirements: • 4 - 7 years of employment litigation experience including substantial prevailing wage experience • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar • Proven track record handling administrative proceedings and wage litigation • Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills • Proactive, self-directed attorney who works well independently and as part of a team
