Job Description
Position Title: Paraplanner
The role of a Paraplanner is essential in providing support to financial advisors by developing and maintaining financial plans for clients. This position involves building and updating financial plans, organizing client data, and assisting in various planning areas. The successful candidate will thrive in a small team environment and will be instrumental in enhancing the client experience. Adaptability and strong analytical skills are key, as the role requires managing multiple client cases and meeting deadlines. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing firm with a dynamic culture. The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / Year DOE
Paraplanner Responsibilities: • Build and update financial plans using planning software • Input and organize client data, including assets, income, and liabilities • Create account models, run case studies, and develop planning scenarios • Assist with asset mapping and portfolio alignment within client plans • Upload and maintain client paperwork and documentation • Support advisors across planning, reporting, and client preparation • Work across planning areas including investments, trusts, mortgages, and annuities
Paraplanner Requirements: • 3+ years of paraplanner experience • High school diploma • Proficiency in Word and Outlook • Experience in the financial services industry • Experience with Right Capital software is preferred • CFP certification is preferred • Licensure for 7 and 63, ideally 65, is preferred
