Entry Level Accountant
Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis (90 days). This role is ideal for a recent accounting or finance graduate with some hands-on experience (internship, part-time, or coursework), or a non-degreed candidate with 1-3 years of relevant accounting or billing experience. This position plays a key role in day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on customer invoicing, accuracy, and collaboration across internal teams and external customers. The role is 100% onsite in Lafayette, CO and offers a great opportunity to gain foundational accounting experience and convert to a permanent position. This position is paying $24/hr to $26.44/hr depending on experience. Key Responsibilities • Gather, review, and validate information required to prepare daily customer invoices • Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies • Remove invoice holds and release orders once requirements are met • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to obtain missing or unclear information • Review and approve credit memos in accordance with established guidelines • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries • Maintain accurate documentation and support audit or reporting requests as needed • Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred), OR • 1-3 years of relevant accounting, billing, or finance experience in lieu of a degree • Internship or entry-level accounting experience strongly preferred • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately • Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external customers • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems (ERP experience a plus) • Ability to work onsite and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Why This Opportunity • Entry-level role with hands-on accounting experience • Temp-to-hire pathway to a permanent position • Collaborative team environment with learning and growth opportunities • Gain exposure to invoicing, customer billing, and core accounting processes All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
