Legal Opportunity Overview This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 5 to 10 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience, particularly within wage and hour class actions. The attorney in this role will play a key part in litigating complex employment matters from inception through resolution, including class and representative actions involving wage and hour violations. The ideal candidate enjoys managing sophisticated litigation, collaborating on case strategy, and advocating on behalf of employees in high-stakes matters while working within a team-oriented environment that values initiative, excellence, and professional development. What You Will Do • Handle complex wage and hour class action litigation matters from inception through resolution • Draft and argue motions, including class certification, dispositive motions, and discovery-related motions • Conduct depositions, manage written discovery, and oversee case development strategy • Analyze payroll, timekeeping, and employment records to support litigation claims • Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy, investigations, and trial preparation • Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations • Prepare cases for trial and support trial proceedings as needed • Maintain strong client communication and advocate effectively on behalf of employees • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performing litigation environment What You Bring • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school • Active D.C.
