Sizemore, Inc is looking for a Part Time Floor Tech in Augusta, GA! Pay rate: $14.00/hour. Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm-10:00pm & occasional weekends as needed. Please note that when no floor work is scheduled, associate will be assigned to an account to fill-in and/or maintain floors, pull trash, clean windows, etc. Job Description: The Floor Tech position for the Augusta Division of Sizemore, Inc., will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Related Housekeeping Job Functions: • Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed. • Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and interior areas. • Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders. • Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup. • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. • Responsible for ensuring all chemicals are labeled and properly stored. • Responsible for maintaining good verbal and written communication with management. • Ensure all restrooms and break areas are properly maintained and stocked with the necessary paper products and chemicals. • Obtains complete and accurate job request from management and clients. • Follows and communicates all safety rules and regulations. • Represent Sizemore, Inc. in a professional role. • Maintains documentation of account(s) usage of chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure safe use of each. Related Floor Tech Job Functions: • Cleaning various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum (9-12 lbs.) • sweeping, mopping and scrubbing. • Strip and wax various flooring surfaces. • Moving furniture as needed to access flooring surfaces. • Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals available. • Maintains flooring equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. • Operates specialized equipment as needed. This list is not all inclusive. Other tasks may be assigned as required. Essential Requirements: • Be at least 18 years of age. (This depends based on the position and legal requirements) • Have dependable transportation. • Must submit to and pass required drug screen and background. • Have 2 + years janitorial experience. • Be able to work the day shift/nights/weekends as well as extra hours that could be required from time to time. • High School diploma/GED required. • Capacity to take direction, ability to work well under minimal supervision. • Be able to work in harmony with others. • Must possess great problem-solving skills and be a self-starter.
