Field Trainer/ Performance Evaluator (Industrial Crafts)
GLO Resources is currently hiring an experienced Training Coordinator to work in Geismar, LA. The pay range is $75,000 to $100,000, or potentially higher for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime and weekends as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company. Position Summary: The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing workforce training, certification compliance, and employee development initiatives across multiple NCCER craft disciplines. This role plays a key part in onboarding, skills assessment, auditing certifications, and developing structured training pathways for career progression. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain strong working knowledge of NCCER processes and credentialing standards. • Partner with onboarding teams to verify certification legitimacy and ensure compliance. • Audit employee training records to evaluate current qualifications and identify next-level development opportunities. • Ensure employee certifications remain current and aligned with regulatory requirements. • Conduct hands-on skills assessments as part of the onboarding process. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in NCCER crafts including (but not limited to) Boilermakers, Pipefitters, Crane Operators, Scaffold, etc. • Coordinate closely with leadership to align training and evaluation processes. • Support the development and continuous improvement of training programs. • Evaluate existing programs to identify gaps and areas of enhancement. • Assist in structuring training pathways for mechanical and other craft personnel. • Help formalize career progression tracks. • Manage training documentation and reporting. • Coordinate scheduling of training sessions and assessments. • Support workforce development initiatives in alignment with operational needs. • May be assigned other duties, as necessary. Qualifications: • NCCER Trainer and/or Evaluator Certification preferred • Strong knowledge of NCCER processes and credentialing standards across multiple craft disciplines. • Experience conducting hands-on skills assessments. • Knowledge of NCCER craft regulations and training requirements. • Strong organizational and auditing skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Experience in program development and training improvement initiatives is preferred. • Leadership experience supporting multiple craft disciplines in an industrial environment is preferred. • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. Physical Requirements: This position involves regular physical activity, including: • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. • Standing and sitting at a desk working on a computer for prolonged periods. • Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. • Pushing and pulling heavy objects. • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds at a time.
