Sales Merchandiser The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is currently seeking a hourly Sales Merchandiser for the areas of Norfolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth. The Sales Merchandiser's main responsibility will be supporting sales by filling and maintaining Lottery vending machines, replacing and maintaining counter dispensers, slotting new games during launch periods, assisting in special projects and other various tasks as assigned. Job Coach Temporary Contract Position, 25 hrs./wk.
JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description: Career Coach, Temporary Contract Position, 25 hrs./wk. Reports to: Director of Youth Services, MassHire Greater Brockton Workforce Board Purpose: To engage youth, partners, and employer participants in the YouthWorks Year-Round programs Primary Duties: · Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry · Enter data from source documents into a prescribed computer database, files, and forms · Complete registration and database information with employer & youth · Maintain and review attendance and task submissions using Google Drive · Maintain participant spreadsheets, and review any timesheets and invoices for accuracy · Recruit employer participation for the programming · Ability to complete Work-Based Learning Plan assessment youth · Facilitate in-person workshops/trainings · Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Abilities · Associate’s (2 years in college) preferred plus some experience in the public workforce sector · Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Classroom/suites, etc. for remote delivery of services · Ability to multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication · Experience in providing technical assistance and education to youth · Experience working with school systems and youth organization · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with community organizations Minimum Qualifications · High School Diploma or its equivalent required · Ability to manage multiple projects. · Capable of taking initiative · Ability to work in a team environment This contract position is funded through the Commonwealth Corporation YouthWorks program and will only be filled upon receipt of funding.
