We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Manager / Process Engineer to lead daily manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement across our clients production processes. This role blends leadership and technical expertise, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality output, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing performance on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to delivery schedules
Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve performance and productivity goals
Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste
Identify production bottlenecks and implement effective, sustainable solutions
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor and report on key production metrics (output, downtime, scrap) and take corrective action as needed
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; partner with maintenance to minimize downtime
Develop, document, and standardize work instructions and best practices
Support production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet business demands
Qualifications:
3–7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production management, or process engineering
Strong understanding of shop floor operations, production flow, and lean manufacturing principles
Proven track record of process improvement and workflow optimization
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and team performance
Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in nameplate, printing, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies
A blended background in both operations and engineering
