Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing plant in Andover, MA. We are looking to bring in a Production Helper on 1st Shift. This will be a temp to hire position. Hours: 6:00AM – 4:30PM Monday – Thursday Overtime: Available – Fridays and Saturdays – Optional Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 an Depends on experience in the manufacturing industry Job Overview: The Production Helper works in our warehouse and production areas, assisting in the handling of materials and operation of high volume paper manufacturing machines, and preparation of finished paper products for shipment. Departments/Positions that are open: • Manually pushing rolls of paper into position and then loads them onto the machines, sometimes using a hoist • Assisting the Machine Operator in setup and troubleshooting of the machines • Removing finished paperboard from the machines • Packing of finished skids and loading of paper onto tractor trailers and other delivery vehicles • Assisting in cleanup and processing of waste paper • Performing other cleaning and organization of materials on the Production Floor. The job requires keen attention to detail, most particularly labeling of product and matching product to production orders and shipping paperwork.
