Required Skills & Experience Experience & Requirements • 3-4+ years of experience in affordable housing development and/or acquisitions • Direct experience preparing LIHTC applications, including 3-4 completed submissions • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial model execution; comfort with structured workbooks, SUMIF/SUMPRODUCT logic, data entry discipline within templated tools • Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume workloads • Experience working with multifamily financials (T-12s, rent rolls, operating budgets) • Familiarity with affordable housing programs, regulations, and funding structures market • LIHTC program knowledge - Section 42 basics, income and rent restrictions, compliance requirements, at minimum at the conceptual level with willingness to deepen • Data organization and research - market comp pulls, HUD income limits, CDLAC/TCAC program requirements, zoning and entitlement basics • Curiosity about affordable housing - genuine interest in the LIHTC space, not just financial analysis for its own sake Nice to Have Skills & Experience Competencies Analytical Skills Collects and researches data.
