We haul exclusively for Amazon and are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements. What you'll do: - Haul Amazon loads (100% no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new day cabs - Drive local and regional routes, doing Solo 1 shifts (13 hours with start and finish at our yard) and Solo 2 (2 x 13 hour shifts with a rest in the sleeper between them). - Work a minimum of 39 hours per week (3 shifts of 13 hours each) with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime - Play a key role in keeping Amazon's commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place. They are a wholesale beverage distribution company operating in six states and employ just under 2500 employees. Reporting to the SVP of Human Resources this is a dynamic role overseeing the continuous improvement of core HR operational processes, ensuring accurate, compliant, and employee-focused service delivery across the organization. This role leads multi-state payroll administration and oversees the team and function of HRIS optimization and implementation projects, ensuring data integrity and an effective employee experience. A day in the life: • Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll operations, including processing, audits, reconciliations, and timely remittance of payroll taxes and garnishments, in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and HR operations inquiries, resolving employee questions and issues with a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service. • Maintain and improve HR operational workflows for onboarding, job changes, terminations, and employee data changes, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and strong internal controls. • Produce and analyze payroll and HR metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, overtime, leave balances), identifying trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities. • Ensure payroll accuracy through pre- and post-processing audits, balancing and reconciliation, and coordination with Finance on general ledger mapping and payroll accounting requirements. • Partner with HR and business leaders to define HRIS requirements and lead or support HRIS implementation projects, including testing, data validation, integrations, and go-live readiness. • Maintain HRIS data integrity by establishing governance, audit routines, and standardized processes for employee master data, security/roles, and reporting. • Develop and maintain HR operations documentation, including standard operating procedures, job aids, and training materials for HRIS and payroll processes; provide training to HR team members and managers as needed. • Administer and coordinate HR operational programs and vendors, ensuring service levels, data accuracy, and compliant processes. • Partner with cross-functional leadership to identify, prioritize, and deliver HR operations process improvements, including automation opportunities and internal controls that reduce risk and improve the employee experience. Your areas of knowledge and expertise: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years of progressive HR operations and payroll experience, including hands-on multi-state payroll administration and proven project management abilities • Demonstrated experience with UKG HRIS administration and reporting, including participation in HRIS implementations, upgrades, or major configuration projects • Strong knowledge of payroll wage and hour practices and multi-state compliance considerations, with a high degree of attention to detail and confidentiality • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills; experience with HRIS/payroll systems and timekeeping systems required Compensation and Benefits: $100-$125K DOE.
